What does the YouTube description generator produce?
It writes a draft for the description box of a video: a short summary of what the video covers, a timestamps block and a links block. The timestamps and links are placeholders, so you can see the layout before you add your own.
YouTube allows descriptions of up to 5,000 characters. The draft is kept short on purpose, so you have room to add your own detail.
Why do I still need to add timestamps and links myself?
The tool does not know when each part of your video starts or which links you want to share. Guessed timestamps send viewers to the wrong place, so the placeholders stay until you replace them with real times from your edit.
Open and check every link before you publish. A link you did not test is worse than no link.
How do I get a useful description draft?
Describe the video in a few sentences: the topic, the main points in order and who it is for. Mention any product, tool or resource that should be linked. A specific input gives a more useful summary than a general topic like “my video”.
Read the draft, rewrite the first two lines in your own voice and keep only the facts that match your video.
Does it invent facts or claims?
The tool is instructed to use only what you provide, but an AI model can still write a claim that is not true. Review every sentence. Do not publish invented results, reviews or statistics in the description.

Frequently asked questions
Is the YouTube description generator free?
Yes. You get 5 free runs a day without signing up. The limit is shared with the other AI text tools on this site.
How long can a YouTube description be?
YouTube allows up to 5,000 characters in a description. The draft is shorter than that, so you have room to add details.
Does it add real timestamps?
No. The timestamp block is a placeholder. Add the real times from your edit yourself.
Does the tool store my text?
The tool does not store your text. Still, avoid pasting private or confidential information into any AI tool.
Will a good description make my video rank higher?
There is no guarantee. A clear description helps viewers understand the video, but ranking depends on many factors this tool does not control.
