Nickname generator

Type a name and see it decorated in about two dozen ways, with styled letters and symbol frames. Click a variant to copy it. Everything runs in your browser.

Letters like ç ğ ı ö ş ü İ have no styled version and stay plain. Each game or app decides which symbols and how many characters it accepts.

How does the nickname generator work?

You type the name you already use or want to use. The tool then builds a list of variants from two ingredients: letters rewritten in different Unicode styles, and decorative symbols placed around the name. Each variant has a copy button, so you can paste it straight into a game, a profile or a chat.

Nothing is installed and nothing is sent to a server. The conversion happens on your device, which also means you can try as many names as you like. A fancy nickname is only text made of unusual characters, so it can be pasted anywhere that accepts text, as long as the place accepts those characters.

Which styles and symbols are included?

The letter styles come from the same Unicode blocks used by a fancy text generator. The frames and decorations are separate symbols added before and after the name. Typical building blocks are:

  • Letter styles: bold, script (cursive), gothic (fraktur), small caps, fullwidth, double-struck, monospace.
  • Brackets and frames: ꧁ ꧂, 『 』, 【 】, ༺ ༻.
  • Single symbols: 亗, ★, ツ, ✿, ⚡, ♛.
  • Mixed variants that combine a letter style with a frame.

Will my fancy nickname work in my game or app?

Not always, and it is worth knowing before you spend anything on a name change. Every game and app decides for itself which symbols it accepts, how many characters a name may have and whether it filters unusual characters. PUBG Mobile, Free Fire, Valorant, Discord and Instagram each handle this differently, and their rules can change with an update.

The practical approach is to paste a variant into the name field and see what the app does. If a symbol is rejected, replaced by a box or removed, try another variant or a simpler frame. We cannot promise that any specific variant is accepted, and name-change cards, costs and cooldowns are set by the game, not by this tool.

Why do some letters stay plain?

Unicode has styled versions of the basic Latin alphabet, but not of every letter in every language. Turkish letters such as ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, ü and İ have no bold or script version, so they stay as normal letters in the result. Accented letters from other languages behave the same way.

If your nickname contains one of these letters, you can swap it for its plain Latin partner (c, g, i, o, s, u) before you generate, which gives you a fully styled name. Decide based on how you want the name to read, because the swap changes how the name looks to other players.

How do you pick a nickname you will keep?

Short names are easier to remember and to type. Choose a name you can say out loud, avoid long runs of symbols that make you hard to search for, and keep a plain version of the name for places where fancy characters are rejected. Using the same base name across games and platforms makes you easier to recognise.

If you need a fresh idea first, the username generator suggests names that follow platform rules, and you can then bring one back here to decorate it. For a social profile, check how the symbols look on both phone and desktop, since some devices draw rarer characters as empty boxes.

Frequently asked questions

What is a nickname generator?

It takes a name you type and shows it in decorated versions, using styled Unicode letters and symbol frames, so you can copy one for a game or profile.

How many variants does it create?

About two dozen per name. They combine different letter styles with different frames such as ꧁ ꧂, 『 』, 亗, ★, ツ, ✿ and ⚡.

Does the nickname work in PUBG Mobile, Free Fire or Valorant?

We cannot guarantee it. Each game decides which symbols and how many characters it accepts, and the rules change. Paste a variant into the game's name field to test it.

Why do Turkish letters like ç, ş or ı not change?

Unicode has no styled version of those letters, so they stay plain. You can replace them with c, s or i before generating if you want a fully styled name.

Do I have to pay or sign up?

No. The tool is free, needs no account, and runs in your browser, so the names you type are not sent anywhere.

Can I use these nicknames on Instagram or Discord?

Often yes, but it depends on the app. Some fields strip or reject certain symbols, and some screen readers read styled letters badly, so keep a plain version too.
